Art as a journey to the soul. Different eyes make us to see what we usually fail to see.
Giorgia Madonno ARTe
Transformative Art | we are all in a journey of discovery
Giorgia Madonno art brings us in a journey of discovery. We travel inside her paintings and see the mundane with the surprise of foreign eyes, observing aspects we normally would fail to see. She unveils for us the unconscious. She leads to observe deeper, either a city (by observing new and uncovered details in her urbanscapes), a human being (by the unfiltered strong emotions expressed by her naked and vulnerable female bodies), or a landscape where she invites us to stay still and connect our souls with the energy of the whole.
Her choice of keeping an open approach to multiple styles and art forms expresses her authentic drive to creativity, curiosity and openness to the world. She intuitively refuses not be forced into a pre-defined style, she wants to stay open to possibilities in her journey of development and transformation. Art for her is first of all a journey of self-discovery to the authentic self, a journey that is unpredictable and evolutionary and the style is in service of the message that wants to emerge in the process of transformation.
This is how Giorgia describes herself:
I wanna be the artist who connect souls with their evolutionary journey and with the whole, and do this through creative dialogue and transformative art. I believe in the power of art in opening conversations with self around questions such as " Who am I? What I want to bring into the world?" and in developing our sensitivity and empathy. I am passionate in encountering the human being below the cross-cultural layer and below the social mask, I am in a path of exploration to sense how we are all connected to a bigger whole and to our "humanness". Through my art I want to express this and invite others to embrace the same journey of discovery.

About the artist (English)
Giorgia Madonno is Italian by origin and has been living in Asia since 2008 and previously in France and US. The encounter with different cultures has led her to deepen a research that goes to the essence of things, overcoming the equivocality of the first impression and the cultural trait. Giorgia digs into the soul of the places where she lives and in the human being, looking for a deep connection that goes beyond the cultural barrier and looks at diversity as an opportunity to get back into question and look at different angles. Asia in particular, which as the philosopher F. Jullien says contains our unimaginable and constitutes our "elsewhere", has made it a mirror and allowed her to look to herself and to the human condition with a sharper, more acute and richer eye.
She uses art also to facilitate change and transformation at individual, team, organization. Read more at www.marco-polo-consulting.com
She teaches painting, creativity development and Art4Transformation at VoxLab and MyArtSpace

About the artist (Italiano)
